Kepler Track Transport from/to Queenstown - incl. bus and water taxi

Make the most of your Kepler Track hike experience!

Bus from Queenstown to Te Anau, with the bus departing at 6.55am, 8am, or 10.25am. When in Te Anau, jump into the water taxi departing at 10.30am to Brod Bay and skip the first 5kms of the track, or take the bus to Kepler carpark (Control Gates) at 2.20pm or 3.40pm and start hiking. 

The return bus collects you from either Rainbow Reach or a further 9 kms away, from Kepler Carpark (Control Gates) and brings you back to Te Anau. It arrives in Te Anau with plenty of time to connect you with the bus returning to Queenstown, departing at at 5pm. You will be back in Queenstown around 7.15pm / 7.30pm.

If you arrive at Kepler carpark and don't want to wait for the bus, Te Anau is 'only' 5kms away... :-)

Please let us know under Special Requirements the bus departure time you would like and/or the water taxi if you wish to take and we will plan accordingly.

Please note: We do not provide accommodation on the hike, this must be booked before you book your transport. To complete the Kepler Hike you must book your accommodation through DOC in advance to stay in the DOC huts. These spaces sell out in a flash so don't delay and make sure your accommodation is booked in advance.
