Milford Track Transport from/to Queenstown by bus, incl. bus and water taxi

Make the most of your Milford Track hike experience!

Our Milford Track transport service helps you to get the best out of your hike by collecting you from Queenstown and delivering you to the water taxi at Te Anau Downs. The water taxi then takes you to Glade Wharf where you will start your Milford Hike. When you finish your hike, the water taxi collects you from Sandfly Point and takes you to Deepwater Basin where you will make a short walk to the bus departure (Milford Cafe or the Ferry Terminal) or hop on the shuttle to be ready and waiting for the 2.30pm bus back to Queenstown.

Departing:

Board your minibus transport, departing Queenstown at 8am or 10.15am. Meet the 11.30am or 2pm water taxi from Te Anau Downs to Glade Wharf, start of the Milford Track,

Return:

Hop on your return water taxi, departing Sandfly Point and running continuously between 12pm and 2pm, before boarding your bus at 2.30pm.  Arrive back in Queenstown at approximately 7.15-7.30pm, ready for rest and relaxation after your big hike.

This transport package is the complete solution – we will take care of you.

Please note: We do not provide accommodation on the hike, this must be booked before you book your transport. To complete the Milford Track you must book your accommodation through DOC in advance to stay in the DOC huts. These spaces sell out in a flash so don't delay and make sure your accommodation is booked in advance.
