This is your water taxi service from the start of  the Milford Track at Te Anau Downs to Glade Wharf and then from the end of the Milford Track at Sandfly Point to Deepwater Basin in Milford Sound.


The water taxi departs Te Anau Downs to Glade Wharf at 11.30am or 2pm.

Then, on the last day, the water taxi runs continuously from Sandfly Point to Deepwater Basin from 12pm until 4.30pm. The ride lasts 10 minutes so if you miss one departure, the next one won't be far away 

Insider's tip: To be the first ones on the track and to increase your chances at selecting your bunk bed when you arrive at the hut, make sure to select the 11.30am departure. It is especially important if you are travelling in a group and would like your group to stay together.
