Walking the Milford, Routeburn or Kepler Tracks unguided is a popular, quintessential “kiwi” choice that allows you the ultimate in flexibility and independence. You can explore at your pace, and on your schedule.

PREMIUM PACKAGES  

A fully inclusive, independent package, our Premium Package is a fantastic alternative to a fully guided walk. You can walk on your own terms, with all the time-consuming logistics taken care of.

We provide a hut bookings service, car relocation or transport services and all of the hiking gear and food you need for your adventure. This all-inclusive package makes organising your Great Walk hassle-free.

Please note your premium package is not confirmed until hut bookings open and we secure your huts. If we are unsuccessful at securing your hut, we will provide you with a refund minus $100 admin fee.  

WHEN TO BOOK

Book your package as soon as possible so we have a better chance of securing your DOC hut tickets.  Once we have your DOC huts confirmed, we book your track transport.

DOC Hut bookings open in advance around May/June and sell out very quickly.
